Al Gore talks climate change and Climategate. He also brings up one of the little known facts about the much hoopla-ed e-mails; the most recent of them is ten years old. This is kind of a silver bullet against any conspiracy theorists. If there was any “vast, left wing conspiracy”, it imploded a while ago. Mr. Gore on the topic of science vs. internet drama?

What do they think happens when we put 90 million tons up there every day? Is there some magic wand they can wave on it and—presto!—physics is overturned and carbon dioxide doesn’t trap heat anymore?

Sarah Palin to Obama- don’t go to Copenhagen to embrace “agenda driven science. Palins comments, while expected, are ridiculous. Why doesn’t she just mention how Saudi Arabia are refusing to agree with the rest of the world, as some beacon of anti-science light? As much as I like to take Sarah Palin out of context, I’ll let her speak for herself with a few of the kickers.

“The agenda-driven policies being pushed in Copenhagen won’t change the weather, but they would change our economy for the worse.”

You’re right. Ignoring the rest of the worlds science based on how less then one half of the American political spectrum makes tons of sense.

“Whatever deal he gets, it will be no deal for the American people. What Obama really hopes to bring home from Copenhagen is more pressure to pass the Democrats’ cap-and-tax proposal,”

That sounds like Mrs. Palin is expecting the Copenhagen summit to be a resounding success for those who believe the data on climate change, regardless of a series of decade old e-mails. So the leader of the free world should just ignore the whole thing out of hand?
