The day after Pelosi-Care passes by a narrow margin we have this appalling piece lamenting the fall of the Berlin Wall and the subsequent loss of “social and gender equality, full employment and lack of existential fears, as well as subsidised rents, public transport, culture and sports facilities,” and this exercise in Orwellian Newspeak blaming the Ft. Hood jihadist attack on American capitalism.  Money quote:

“Indeed, it’s time to start asking ourselves whether our famous American freedom—in both its liberal and conservative formulations—is not actually a subtle form of dehumanizing tyranny.”

Liberty = tyrrany seems to be the meme of the day.
