So, according to Mr. Carter, we would all have no problem with socialized health care if the president was white, and we’d have no problem with automobile and bank takeovers if the president was white, and we’d have no problem with card check unionization if the president was white, and we’d have no problem with an earmark filled stimulus that has done little except spiral our country into bankrupcy if the president was white, and we’d have no problem letting Iran develope nuclear weapons if the president was white! C’mon Jimmy…really?

The Baucus proposal would impose, starting in 2013, a 35 percent excise tax on insurance companies for “high-cost plans” — defined as those above $8,000 for individuals and $21,000 for family plans.
