Up until the day he died, he was surrounded by the best medical support team available. How ironic is it that the Libs want to use his iconic name to help push through a public option that would have put an end to "Uncle Keg" because he would have been considered to old, and to far gone to spend the money and time on? Talk about circular logic. He was able to enjoy the best medical care the world can offer right here in America. He was a main proponent to change the Massachusetts succession law in 2004 when John Kerry was the democrat presidential candidate, so that if Kerry's seat was vacated, at the time Governor Mitt Romney would not be able to appoint a republican replacement. Last week, he urged Massachusetts lawmakers to again change the succession law to give now democrat Governor Deval Patrick the ability to appoint an interim replacement should he be unable to continue serving.
