*More love from our feudal overlords elected representatives. Rep. Nadler (D-NY), has doubled down on the “tea partiers as fascists” meme:
“It is fascist. It is a fascist tactic,” Rep. Jerry Nadler, (D-N.Y.) said of the conservative town hall protesters. “That’s exactly what they did in Weimar, Germany. Let me put it this way. It is a fascist tactic not to disagree with you, or to say you are an idiot or whatever, but to try to shut you up. That’s what I mean. That’s a fascist tactic.”
I think the man needs to brush up on his history, personally. Second up, we have a supposed “blue dog” admitting that he doesn’t care what his constituents think:
“MASSA: I will vote adamantly against the interests of my district if I actually think what I am doing is going to be helpful. I will vote against their opinion if I actually believe it will help them.”
He will “vote adamantly” against the interests of his district. Suck it, representative democracy.
*You will not, in fact, be allowed to keep your current health insurance under ObamaCare.
*Deconstructing Obama, by DOCTOR ZERO.
“My advice to conservatives, and the politicians who would represent them, is to deconstruct the language of the Left at every opportunity. Take back the language… then take back Congress, the White House, and the country.”

*Harry Reid’s Evil Moment: And Democrats wonder why their health plan isn’t selling, by William McGurn.
“It would be easy to read something dark into Mr. Reid’s characterization, and the yawn with which it has been greeted. In fact, what we have here is really the logical extension of the liberal assumption that they have a monopoly on brain power. In such a world, anyone who dissents, almost by definition, has to be stupid or evil or both.”
This point is made extremely well in Jonah Goldbergs book “Liberal Fascism,” which I am currently re-reading. Buy it here; you won’t be disappointed.
RELATED: Liberalism: Because we know what’s good for you. By Brent Littlefield.
“Americans should not be surprised, after they take time from work or family to attend town hall meetings and express their opinions, that many of their so-called “representatives” will just return to Washington and continue crafting their “solution” for America. Because, of course, these liberal politicians are smarter, know more, and are just plain better than you.”
*The Panel: What death by bureaucratic fiat might look like, by Andrew Klavan.
“Free people can treat each other justly, but they can’t make life fair. To get rid of the unfairness among individuals, you have to exercise power over them. The more fairness you want, the more power you need. Thus, all dreams of fairness become dreams of tyranny in the end.”
*Shocker! The left doesn’t care about the Iraq war now that Bush is gone.
*Dhimmi Watch: Yale Surrenders, by Christopher Hitchens.
“It was bad enough during the original controversy, when most of the news media—and in the age of “the image” at that—refused to show the cartoons out of simple fear. But now the rot has gone a serious degree further into the fabric. Now we have to say that the mayhem we fear is also our fault, if not indeed our direct responsibility. This is the worst sort of masochism, and it involves inverting the honest meaning of our language as well as what might hitherto have been thought of as our concept of moral responsibility.”
Indeed.

*Remember that “racist” Obama as Joker poster? Well it seems that the artist is a Palestinian-American Kucinich supporter. For those of you keeping score, the Obama-as-Hitler poster was from the perpetual communist candidate LaRouche, and the joker image is from a supporter of the (arguably) only dem. candidate who was to the left of Obama. But it’s still the evil conservatives fault, just ask MSDNC, CBS, the LA Times, etc.
