I honestly think that Lou Dobbs is the only person keeping this crap around. I look forward to the anti-birther ads on his show.

With all due respect Del, I think you’re way off base here. I am not afraid of what the MSM thinks, but I do respect it’s power to sway independent voters. That being said, this is a NON ISSUE. The state of Hawaii has authenticated the short form of the certificate, there are copies of Hawaiian newspapers that list President Obama’s birth, etc. Every time a moderate sees a birther sign at a Tea Party it just turns them off, and makes a mockery of the real issues. Think about how you felt watching anti-war protesters carrying signs about the 9/11 truther movement. The instinctive response was that they were whack jobs, and not worth listening too, even if they had legitimate grievances about the war and how it was conducted.
We are winning the fight against cap and trade and Obamacare. Moderates and independents are coming to our point of view because we have reason on our side. We have to be better than the progressives, who have abandoned the use of reason in favor of post-modern relativism. The truth is that record spending and deficits are bad for America, and people see that.
Plus, have you ever thought that by not releasing the long form birth certificate Obama is actually doing his allies a favor? He wants this to be an issue, because it is not, and the more people clamor for the documentation the less they are paying attention to Obamacare, cap-and-tax, cash for clunkers, etc.

I beleived you to be smarter than this QC. Shutting the fuck up, and being afraid of what the MSM thinks IS the problem. There is nothing a conservative/classical liberal movement can do to avoid the label of incipient racist and history proves it. Why tip-toe around the issues out of fear of them being used against us? The MSM wants us to sit down and shut up! What does it matter to you if “Birthers” find it in their right to want to force Obama to do what all presidents are REQUIRED to do. Everything we stand for is fodder for the bastards anyway, so what is there to loose? If he provides the actual document, and it’s real then the “Birthers” eat crow, so what! Massive unemployment, higher taxes, the eliminating of private insurance, war, the falling dollar, the recession, failing banks, and falling residential and commercial markets are the issues on people’s minds, not the over used grenade of racism, racism, racism! People screaming racism need to shut the fuck up, but they don’t because we hide in the corner when the scream it. Your advice is simply wrong.
