Personally, I pay my rent on time, never miss a payment for any bill, and don't buy things I can't afford. Because of that and that alone, my credit score is awesome. It's nice to know that my respsonsible behavior is being punished.

"You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves"
"You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong."
"You cannot help the poor by destroying those who are rich"
"You cannot build character and courage by taking away a man's initiative and independence"
-Abraham Lincoln

And Obama and his cronies want to "spread the wealth around" to make things fair...just more hand outs for the dumb masses.

the Founding Fathers, who understood that man is born free, that his rights are inalienable, among them life, liberty, and the "pursuit of happiness." Nowhere does the Constitution say "guarentee" of happiness. As the author said, "I, for one, have no use for such a loathsome construct. I’ll keep my Rights just as they are, thank you, and remind the leviathan that it serves at the will of the people, not the other way around."

Well said, Mr. Patterson. I think the most important point of all is the increasingly blurring difference between a privilage and a right. What once used to be a privilage, (owning a home, being able to get credit for purchasing a luxury, and I'm gonna throw this one out there too...going to college) has slowly been engulfed into the socalistic veiwpoint that is entitlement. The majority attitude of people now is that, 'I shouldn't have to work hard to get the same things that my parents had, it should be my right to live in the same means as they did.' I fullheartedly believe that this overall mindset is the most destructive thing to the fabric of our society and it's going to a very difficult if not next to impossible to change the inherent veiws that newer generations have about intitlement versus privialges. The farther along this road we travel, the greater the damage will be.
